As Managing Director of M2QUANT, he leads the development of quantamental investment strategies across listed metals and mining equities and private-market resource assets.

Earlier in his career, Daniel founded VANSKYE & CIE., a geopolitical strategy advisory focused on natural resources, structured finance, and capital allocation across frontier and complex markets. Through the firm, he advised resource companies, financial institutions, strategic investors, and capital providers on geopolitical and sovereign risk, security exposure, transaction diligence, market entry, partnership structuring, and transaction structuring.

Subsequent advisory mandates included work with senior leadership at Goldman Sachs and BlackRock on geopolitical and security risk affecting resource extraction markets, strategic capital allocation, transaction exposure, and institutional positioning. Investment Perspective

My investment perspective centers on quantamental investment strategies for metals and mining, integrating fundamental sector analysis with computational and algorithmic methods, probabilistic modeling, geological-risk underwriting, geopolitical and sovereign-risk assessment, and financial engineering.

This framework expresses technical, financial, and transaction-specific uncertainty through explicit probabilities and translates that analysis into disciplined capital allocation, transaction structures, and risk-adjusted return frameworks.
